The privacy policy page explains how OEPIA collects and processes your personal data. We also provide you with information about the type of data we collect, how we process it and what is the purpose of this processing.

OEPIA processes personal data in accordance with the regulations in force and in particular in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of this data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as “the Regulation”).

 

The principles of collection and processing of personal data refer to:

  1. Collecting and processing the person’s data only for the purpose described in the Privacy Policy or for the specific purpose about which the person was informed and/or for which he gave his consent;
  2. Collection of only the absolute data necessary for communication or execution of the service. We do not process data other than the minimum necessary;

 

Personal data is representative of any information relating to a natural person that allows to identify him or her directly or indirectly. The processing of this data refers to any action or set of actions such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, extraction, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, deletion or destruction.

The personal data we collect may vary depending on the purpose for which we collect it and the service we provide. We usually collect the following categories of personal data directly: personal details (name, surname, email, mailing address, phone number), browsing history (pages visited, date of access, geo-location during the visit, IP address) , the data from the CV submitted by the natural person in the situations in which he applied for an available position.

We collect your personal data for the following purposes:

  • to contact, process and respond to visitor requests for information;
  • to develop and improve the products, services and functionality of our owned websites or applications;
  • to authenticate the identity of people who contact us by phone or by other means;
  • to create an account when you register for our apps and services.

We may also need the personal data to fulfill legal obligations or as part of the contractual relationship we have with the person from whom we collect the data. When personal data is collected and used for the purposes mentioned above or for any other reason, OEPIA informs before or at the time of collection. Whenever necessary, OEPIA requests consent for the processing of personal data. At any time, a person who has given his consent for the processing of this type of data has the right and the possibility to withdraw his consent.

 

Personal data are collected, processed and used by OEPIA SRL. To exercise your rights regarding the personal data processed by OEPIA, you can contact the person in charge of data protection within OEPIA at the email address dpo@oepia.ro. The electronic message must include the request and must be accompanied by an identity document certified (by signature and endorsement) as conforming to the original.

Rights regarding processed personal data:

  1. Right of access and right of rectification: you have the right to access, correct or update this data;
  2. The right to data transfer: you have the right to receive the personal data collected by OEPIA in a structured format;
  3. The right to request data deletion: it is possible to request the deletion of personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, when you withdraw your previously given consent (as long as there is no other legal basis for OEPIA to continue processing the data of a personal nature), when you do not want to use the personal data for direct marketing purposes, when you consider that they have been processed without a legal basis or when the personal data must be deleted to comply with the legislation in force;
  4. The right to restrict the processing of data: you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of personal data if you consider that it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected or if you consider that it has been processed without consent (without wanting us to delete it );
  5. The right to oppose the processing of personal data;
  6. The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

The storage period of the collected data is not fixed, they will be deleted or anonymized as soon as they no longer support the purpose for which they were collected. Additionally, this information can be kept in the situation where this aspect has been provided for in the legislation in force, in the EU regulations, laws or other provisions that produce effects on the responsible person.

 

The protection of personal data is very important to OEPIA and that is why we make every effort against misuse, unauthorized interventions, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. We have active security measures in place to ensure the protection of this data.

Personal data processed may also be transferred outside the EEA (European Economic Area). In this situation, OEPIA will make every effort to ensure that the international transfer of information (personal data) is carried out at an appropriate level of security. The safeguards we use to protect international data transfers include:

  1. model of standard contractual clauses validated by the European Commission which provide a sufficient guarantee because they make it possible to comply with the relevant security levels;
  2. through certification mechanisms that certify that third parties located outside the EEA process personal data in accordance with the Regulations in force at EU level. These certifications must be approved either by the European Commission, by the competent supervisory authority under the Regulation, or by the national accreditation body designated in accordance with the Regulation.

COOKIE POLICY

When you visit the OEPIA website, a number of types of cookies may be stored in the equipment used to view the web page. They have the role of providing a personalized browsing experience by processing information about the visitor, his options and/or the device used. It is important to note that blocking some or all cookies will have a negative impact on the experience of using the site in general and its features in particular.

 

Types of cookies used:

  1. Strictly Necessary Cookies: These are required for the website to function and cannot be disabled in our systems. You can set your browser to block or warn about these files, but some parts of the site will not work in this case. These cookies are not used to store personal information;
  2. Performance/analysis cookies: used to centralize visits and traffic sources and improve site performance. They are also used to see the most accessed pages and how visitors navigate. These cookies do not collect personal data either;

Blocking this type of cookie will result in the continued receipt of advertising, only that it will not be personalized.
  4. Social media cookies: set by a number of social media providers and enable the use of social media features on our website. These providers have the ability to track how the visitor navigates the site or other sites and thus create a profile of the visitor’s interests. This profile may be used for advertising purposes.
